Unicord public company limited was established in 1987 under the name Unicord Investment( Thailand ) Co.,Ltd. The company started out as a pioneer in the processed tuna sector, initially manufacturing a wide range of canned tuna canned seafood and frozen seafood products, using a state of the art manufacturing process at its factory in Samutsakhon.

          Unicord is the leading manufacturer and exporter of canned seafood in Thailand . On 15 September 2005 , Sea value Co.,Ltd took over Unicord with capital of 520 million baht and production capacity of 400 tonnes per day.

          Unicord has a factory complex in Samutsakhon and with a minimum processing capacity of 400 tonnes per day for tuna. Over its long years of operation, Unicord has consistently expanded its international markets, and has presently penetrated into more than 30 countries worldwide. Today, Unicord's products are well – accepted throughout the world under more than 350 brand names.
